Ludwig 15″ Marching Snare

This drum was submitted to Symphony for a Broken Orchestra – a citywide effort between Temple Contemporary and the School District of Philadelphia. All Damaged instruments were submitted to be used in an original composition to bring awareness to the majority of the broken instruments within the School District of Philadelphia. After being deemed “damaged beyond repair” by “numerous reputable repair shops”, I came in and repaired the drum. After replacing the butt plate, installing missing components of the throw off, new wires, drum heads, and missing hoops, the drum now resides at Franklin Learning Center and is used as a concert snare.
